Weddings

“Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God.” — 1 John 4:7

A Christian Marriage

Marriage is a relationship intended by God, in which spouses support each other through life’s circumstances and, for many, share in raising children. For Christians, marriage represents sharing life according to Christ’s example, through a formal, lifelong covenant made publicly before God and witnesses.

Can We Marry Here?

Parishioners have the right to marry in their parish church. Others may qualify through a connection to the parish — for example, having parents who were married there. Couples must satisfy certain legal conditions to marry in one of our churches.

What to Expect

We want the service to keep the meaningful elements of Christian wedding liturgy at its heart — hymns, scripture and prayer, rather than entertainment. Because the service is an act of communal worship rather than a performance, there are some restrictions on recording music and video during the ceremony.
